Being Different

With the society that I’m enveloped in, there’s only three types of people you can join. The first of which who gossip, friend and unfriend each other every five minutes, worship materialism rather than knowledge, and live petty-minded lives.Over on the other side, there’s only those who overanalyze concepts to the point of where it doesn’t even make sense anymore–to where it’s completely diverged from what it truly is. And then there’s those who, sure, are kind, but come from a completely different cultural background; you’ll never have that unique connection with someone you wish with your soul to acquire. Of course, there will be good people that come in and out of your lives and you should never let go of whom your heart sings of. But, then there’s me. I live an isolated life, sure, but I’m myself; I don’t pretend to be someone I’m not. It’s lonely, yes, but imagine this: at the end of your life, you’ll look back and say, “I’ve accomplished everything I’ve personally dreamed of. I was comfortable and satisfied in that sense.” I guess all I’m trying to say is to keep seizing the day by the horns. As long as you’re yourself, you’ll be fine. 🙂
