Retro Review: Empire of the Sun (1987)
Steven Spielberg has long been praised for his myriad of excellent work. Considered to be one of the founding pioneers of the New Hollywood era, Spielberg never disappoints with his limitless works of imagination. Having said that, I found it surprising that Empire of the Sun is not mentioned as much as Spielberg’s other work.
